Free Online Monitor Test
Inspect a desktop monitor or laptop display with full-screen colors, gray fields, and gradients designed to make common panel defects easier to see.
Use black in a dim room to look for bright pixels, clouding, or edge bleed. White and gray can reveal dirty screen effect, uneven brightness, or unwanted tint. Red, green, and blue are useful for individual pixel and subpixel checks, while gradients can make visible banding easier to identify.
Viewing angle matters, especially on LCD panels, so start directly in front of the display at your normal distance and then move closer for pixel-level inspection. PixelExams runs entirely in the browser and does not require software installation.
PixelExams is a guided visual inspection utility. It does not automatically diagnose hardware defects, calibrate a display, or determine warranty eligibility.
