PixelExams™

Experimental Stuck Pixel Exerciser

If a pixel remains lit in a fixed color, PixelExams provides a movable rapid color-cycling target that can be positioned over the suspected stuck pixel for a short timed session.

First confirm the point with the Dead Pixel Test and restart the device. A true dead pixel is a hardware failure and cannot be repaired by browser software. Stuck pixels sometimes change after color cycling, but improvement is not guaranteed.

The exerciser uses rapidly changing colors. Do not use it if you are sensitive to flashing imagery, and stop immediately if it causes discomfort, dizziness, nausea, headache, or eye strain. Never press, rub, or massage the panel.

PixelExams is a guided visual inspection utility. It does not automatically diagnose hardware defects, calibrate a display, or determine warranty eligibility.
